ASRock Radeon RX 5600 XT Details Leak; Features 2304 Stream Processors, 6GB GDDR6 Memory

ASRock seems to have jumped the gun, having more or less confirmed, as well as leaked new information about AMD’s upcoming Radeon 5600 XT. Like the current RX 5700 XT and RX 5500 XT, the card is based on the same 7nm Navi GPU architecture.

Contrary to an earlier report, though, the leaks indicate that ASRock’s version of the RX 5600 XT features 2304 Stream Processors – the same as the RX 5700 – and not the 1536 Stream Processors that was initially suggested. Further, the new card will have 6GB GDDR6 memory with a base clock of 1235MHz, a game clock of 1460MHz, and a boost clock of 1620MHz. Additionally, the GPU’s memory is set to run at a speed of 12Gbps.

Like its current siblings as well, the RX 5600 XT is designed to take full advantage of AMD’s new PCIe 4.0 interface. On another note, the GPU also has a 192-bit memory bus, and will require a single 8-pin PCIe power connector to run. Ports-wise, ASRock’s RX 5600 XT will feature three DisplayPort 1.4 ports and an HDMI 2.0b port.

Beyond that, there’s no information about the physical iteration of ASRock’s RX 5600 XT, not even the number of fans the card will sport.

And while no actual launch date has been provided, it is believed that AMD is expected to launch the Radeon RX 5600 XT next month. More specifically, it has been suggested online that the card might just make its debut at CES 2020.
