Grab A Laptop From Asus, HP, And Acer For 7% Off, Today Only

If you’ve been holding off buying that gaming laptop or Ultrabook, today’s a great day to seal the deal. Asus, HP, and Acer are all offering 7% discount codes on most laptops on their official stores in Lazada – with no limits on the discount.
Those who shop on Lazada will know that voucher codes with no caps are extremely rare, so this is a great opportunity to get some real discounts off premium laptops from the three brands. We’ve tried the coupons on all three brands’ stores, and found that they apply for most laptops listed; Acer’s code works for almost every laptop in the store.

Generally, the eligible products will have a sticker that shows the voucher code on the product page, but a little trial and error may be fruitful, such as over RM600 off the HP Omen 17 gaming laptop, or the Acer Predator 17. You can also use them on mid-range gaming laptops, such as the Omen 15 or Acer Nitro 5, or go for a premium Ultrabook such as the HP Spectre X360 or the Acer Swift 7.
Check out the brand stores here for Acer, Asus, and HP. Meanwhile, Lenovo is also offering its own storewide discount code, but it is slightly less at 5%. That’s still enough to shave a few hundred Ringgit off the Legion Y720, Legion Y520, or even the Yoga 720. The full list of eligible products can be seen from its official store page here.

(Updated) Snag the iPhone 8 for Only RM3,169 Today

It’s 11 November today, and we’re seeing some steep discounts on various gadgets. If you don’t quite fancy the heavily discounted Product Red iPhone 7 phones, maybe this iPhone 8 deal is for you: it can be bought for RM480 less now.
Of course, this is the base model iPhone 8 with 64GB of internal storage. Originally retailing at RM3,649, Apple’s latest flagship phone is now offered at only RM3,169 (Update: sold out!). It’s certainly a very good discount, and this particular unit is sold by Lazada itself as well.
Unfortunately, the iPhone 8 Plus didn’t receive as steep of a discount. The 64GB model now goes for RM3,999 (RM150 discount), while the larger capacity 256GB variant is listed at RM4,609 – RM290 less than the suggested retail price.

Update: Looks like Tesco is back at it again, this time with the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. It has listed the iPhone 8 64GB in Gold and Silver for RM3,199, but the iPhone 8 Plus 64GB is listed for just RM3,699 – almost RM500 off the RM4,149 RRP. This is the first significant discount for the iPhone 8 Plus, so we don’t expect this to stay in stock for long.
If you’d like to learn more about the new iPhone 8, you can read our hands on of these two phones. They may not be as sleek as the iPhone X, but they could be a nice upgrade for those with older generation iPhones.

The Xiaomi Mi A1 Just Dropped Below RM900 Today

Xiaomi’s first Android One device is impressive in many ways, and today’s 11/11 sale just gave us another one. The Xiaomi Mi A1 has now dipped below the RM900 mark.
Packing a “flagship dual camera” setup, the Mi A1 offers 2x optical zoom – something not many phones in this price range can match. It also runs on pure Android, which means it has zero bloatware and minimal lag.

For a product that’s only two months old in Malaysia, a discount of over 20% is pretty generous – but that’s what a few major sellers in Lazada are doing. The Mi A1 in Black and Gold be purchased for just RM869, and interestingly, the Pink model with local warranty is also available at RM929.

Tesco is Throwing Prices for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8

With so many sellers on the platform, it’s natural to see prices for popular smartphones spiraling on popular sales days like these. It’s just really odd to see Tesco, of all sellers, to be offering the lowest prices we’ve seen for two of Samsung’s 2017 flagship smartphones.
The Galaxy S8, released earlier this year, has seen its price slowly drop in the last few months. Just last week we reported that you could get it for as low as RM2,399, but today, you can buy the Galaxy S8 for RM50 less: it’s just RM2,349 in Midnight Black and Orchid Grey.

Meanwhile, Tesco is also selling the Galaxy Note 8 at the lowest listed price we’ve seen so far today. At RM3,349, it quite comfortably goes lower than the previous sub-RM3,500 price tags that surfaced last month. Tesco is offering the Note 8 for RM3,349 in three colours: Black, Grey, and Gold.

Lazada’s MacBook Air 13 Prices Are Almost Unbelievable

Apple does not make laptops like the MacBook Air anymore – which is probably why Apple continues to manufacture them as an alternative to the super-thin MacBook. Today, Lazada gives us another reason to get the MacBook Air 13: discounts of up to RM900.
The e-commerce giant is selling both the 2017 4GB/128GB and 2-17 8GB/256GB models of the MacBook Air 13 at really steep discounts this 11/11. Where the 4GB/128GB model currently retails for RM4,199 at the Apple Online Store, Lazada is selling the same model for RM3,499 – RM700 less.

But the better deal has to be the 8GB/256GB model: Apple’s retail price for this laptop is RM4,999 – Lazada is selling this variant for just RM4,099. If this model is sold out (which we quite expect), there is an IT seller listing this model at RM4,199 – still a massive, massive discount.
With the extra storage space and RAM, the RM600 extra is actually very worth it. In fact, these prices are actually considerably cheaper than similar configurations for premium Windows Ultrabooks (though these MacBooks are still running on 5th-gen Intel Core i processors).
In fact, these prices are much lower than Apple’s education pricing. With a discount as steep as these, it won’t be surprising to see these two laptops going out of stock by the end of the day.
