EVGA Debuts GTX 1070 Ti FTW Ultra Silent Graphics Card

EVGA has a new custom graphics card called the GTX 1070 Ti FTW Ultra Silent. One rather interesting feature about this graphics card is that it has a higher fan cutoff threshold compared to other custom EVGA cards – hence the “Ultra Silent” nomenclature. The addition of the GTX 1070 Ti FTW Ultra Silent means that EVGA now has five custom GTX 1070 Ti graphics card in total.

According to EVGA, the higher fan cutoff threshold on the GTX 1070 Ti FTW Ultra Silent means that the fans on this graphics card will not only stay off when the GPU is not in use, but also when it’s under load. Both fans on this graphics card will only operate when the GPU reaches a certain temperature level – which is, again, set to be higher than other custom EVGA graphics cards.

When it comes to design, the GTX 1070 Ti FTW Ultra Silent features a silver-coloured cooler shroud along with two black open-air cooling fans. In addition, this graphics card is also fitted with a backplate as well. It’s also worth mentioning that this graphics card is also 2.5-slot thick; due to the rather large ACX 3.0 cooling solution.

Specifications-wise, as with any other custom GTX 1070 Ti graphics cards, EVGA’s GTX 1070 Ti FTW Ultra Silent also ships with reference clock speeds that has been set by Nvidia. Of course, consumers will be able to alter the clock speeds on this graphics card by using EVGA’s overclocking utility. Those aside, the GTX 1070 Ti FTW Ultra Silent is currently priced at US$499 (about RM2,032) on EVGA’s official website.
