Kodak Mini Shot Captures And Prints Photos On The Spot

Kodak, one of the oldest names in photography, has launched a new digital camera for the masses. The Kodak Mini Shot combines a digital camera and a photo printer into something similar to a Polaroid camera. Of course, it can’t legally say that for trademark reasons.

Using 4Pass photo paper, Mini Shot prints credit-card sized photos taken with the built-in 10 megapixel sensor. The camera single focal-length lens is rated at f/2.55 and the package is small enough that you can bring it around without trouble.

Apart from using the built-in photo printer, the camera also features Bluetooth connectivity to connect to mobile devices. It supports both iOS and Android, using the Kodak Mini Shot app available from the App store of Google Play Store.

On the back of the Mini Shot there is a 1.7-inch display for playback and photo adjustments. Users can add borders, or even filters right on the camera itself. The photos are both fingerprint- and water-proof so photos printed will not smudge easily. There is also an adhesive-backed photo paper which can be stuck on surfaces as decoration.

Users interested to get one the Mini Shot just need to shell out US$ 99.99 (RM 408), with the 4Pass photo paper sold separately.
