Rumour: Samsung To Announce Galaxy Tab S4 With 10.5″ Display At MWC 2018

It seems Samsung won’t just be launching it Galaxy S9 series smartphones during MWC 2018. According to the grapevine, the company might also be announcing the Galaxy Tab S4, the successor to last year’s Galaxy Tab S3.

Rumours of the device started cropping up online when a specs sheet and listing for a tablet appeared on GFXBench with the model number SM-T835; a serial number style that is usually employed by Samsung. Also, since the Galaxy Tab S3 had the model number SM-T825, it’s not surprising that many of us (ourselves included) would come the same conclusion.

According to the list, the new tablet sports a 10.5″ display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and five finger gesture support. The sheet doesn’t list down the full name of the Qualcomm processor, but judging from its model number, it’s very likely that the tablet will be rocking a Snapdragon 835 and 4GB of RAM.

Also, if the sheet if to be believed, the tablet will also have an internal storage capacity of 64GB at launch. It also looks like the tablet will sport a 12MP camera in the rear and a 7MP front-facing camera, both of which will be able to capture Full HD video.

Unfortunately, the list doesn’t say if the Galaxy Tab S4 will come with its own S-Pen, much like its predecessor. We’ll just have to wait until next week for Samsung’s keynote at MWC 2018 (assuming they do announce it).
