Samsung Malaysia To Honour All of The Half-Priced Galaxy Note10 Orders Made On 24 December

Samsung Malaysia recently ran a Christmas promotion in which involved a new deal on daily basis starting from 13 until 24 December. The company pretty much saved one of the promo’s best deals for the final day which is 50% discount on the Galaxy Note10.

Not surprisingly, there were only a handful of units available through the half price deal. However, what the company didn’t expect though is that its online store continued to accept orders even though all of the units that were meant for the promo already sold out within 3 minutes.

Samsung Malaysia then cancelled those additional orders and provided a refund alongside a RM 100 discount voucher that unfortunately, still required a minimum purchase of RM 700. Understandably, some of the affected customers were outraged by the cancellation and the less-than-satisfying voucher.

Samsung Malaysia has since made a U-turn and has announced that all customers that managed to successfully order their half-priced Galaxy Note10 on 24 December will receive their units. According to the media statement released by the company, its customer service team already in the process of reaching out to these customers.

In general, it is good to see Samsung reacted swiftly and positively to the negative responses from its customers. More importantly, it is also yet another lesson to all brands out there that they have to make sure that their stores, regardless online or offline, are properly prepared whenever they want to offer a major deal to their customers.
