Sapphire Radeon RX 590 NITRO+ Graphics Card Pops Up Online; Sports A Bright Blue Cooler Shroud

The rumoured launch date of AMD’s Radeon RX 590 graphics card is exactly one week away. While brands like ASUS and PowerColor have already had images of their iteration of the card leaked out, Sapphire has become the latest brand name to have images of the Polaris Refresh card flying its NITRO+ colours leak online.

According to Videocardz, the aesthetics and card design of the RX 590 NITRO+ doesn’t seem to deviate from the design that’s currently in use for both its current NITRO+ and Pulse graphics card. Seriously, even the backplate looks the same.

In terms of specification, the card will be built upon a 12nm LP die lithography. Despite being a Polaris Refresh. Like the competition, the RX 590 NITRO+ will also feature 2304 stream processors, 144 TMUs, and 32 ROPs. The card will still feature 8GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 8000MHz, spread across a 256-bit memory bus.

If the cooler design of the RX 590 NITRO+ is anything to go by, it’s very likely that the fans can be detached, both for easy cleaning and replacing should any issues arise.

In any case, we’ll just have to wait until 15 November to see if these cards are the real deal or just a pipe dream.
