The First Person To Buy iPhone 11 In Singapore is A Malaysian

Today marked the first day of iPhone 11 release in selected markets throughout the world including our Southern neighbour, Singapore. Naturally, throngs of eager customers have camped outside of Apple Store over there including the first-ever Apple Store in Southeast Asia at Orchard Road.

Here is how the scene looks like according to Michael Josh of the famed tech blog, GadgetMatch:

Interesting enough, the first ever customer for iPhone 11 in Singapore is not a Singaporean. Instead, the honour goes to this 17-year old guy from Johor Bharu:

Given the fact that the iPhone 11 will be released in Malaysia just one week after Singapore instead of more than a month as per previous iPhone models, so this is rather surprising. Then again, if you live not far from an actual Apple Store, you might as well just go for it.
